Bagged the Best Director award from”Sangeet Natak Academy “ for consecutively three years (1979, 1980, 1981).

 Directed the oriya play ‘Bitarkita Aparahna” scripted by Padma Sree awardee Sri Manoranjan Das. This play was staged at the Fifth National FestivalDrama, 1982.

Evolved as playwright for radio plays “Abishkar” and “Ahula”  was aired by All India Radio, Cuttack.

The first  dramatist of India to conceptualize, direct, act and  produce the Serial-on-stage, HAWA HAWA. This extremely popular  serial-on stage had a record run of  35     episodes  in 1980 & 1990’s throughout odisha.

Playwright and Director for the “Hawa Hawa” Natya Sansad for Song and Drama Division, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, New Delhi on Community Development and awareness programmes from 1985-1993.

Involvement in Cinema as screen playright and dialogue writer of Oriya films, “Asuchhi mo kalia Suna” , “Panjuri Bhitare Sari” and “Jor jar Mulak Tar“

Honored by the Governor of Odisha for the most popular Columnist of the  Newspaper dailies Sambada Kalika and  Odisha Express for two consecutive year 2010 and 2011.
